Please describe your company and your position there.

I am an owners corporation manager working for a Registered Manager that manages over 70 Owners Corporations in Melbourne and surrounding suburbs.

We contract MWB Accountants to audit the financial statements that we prepare for our prescribed owners corporations.

Obtain Audit Report in a timely fashion with as little disruption to our business as possible.

We looked online and they seemed to be a market leader in this field.

Once our accountants have prepared the financial statements, we forward these to MWB Accountants. Then they audit the financial statements and once they are satisfied that the financial statements are free of any material errors then they provide us with an audit report.

Describe their billing or cost structure.

They have a fixed fee per audit which is what we were looking for as it provides us with a little bit of certainty when setting budgets.

What was the team composition?

The audits are performed by Michael, the Director, and usually one of his other accountants, but Michael is our point of contact for all matters.

The Audit Report was provided to us in a timely fashion as promised.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow between our team and theirs was very seamless and easy to navigate. They provided their service with minimal disruption to our day to day activities.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their professionalism and knowledge about our industry, which can be quite specialized, is impressive. Also, Michael is never too busy to provide advice on anything else that may arise during the audit.
