Stephen Murphy, Principal, CA

Stephen commenced as principal of Murphyco Accounting in 1991. As well as extensive accounting knowledge Stephen has over 15 years’ experience as Chairman and Director of both public and private companies. Stephen has a Bachelor of Commerce from James Cook University and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants from which he holds a practicing certificate. Stephen is also a member of the Taxation Institute of Australia.

Stephen professional experience encompasses financial and business analysis including cash flow and capital expenditure, mergers and acquisitions advice and taxation services for small to medium enterprises. Stephen also has a strong involvement in Rotary and has held many club and district positions.
