mPOS Global is a financial services, merchant services aggregator and mobile payment company based in Panamá. The company markets several software and hardware payment products and will soon expand into financing programs for small business throughout Latina America. It allows individuals and merchants in Latin America to accept offline debit and credit cards on their mPOS Global payment device and/or iOS/Android smartphone or tablet computer. The application software supports manually entering the card details or swiping the card through the mPOS reader, a Bluetooth device supported by smartphone or tablet that reads both magnetic stripes and EMV chips.

An mPOS (Mobile Point-of-Sale) is a wireless device (i.e dedicated reader, smartphone, tablet) that performs the functions of a cash register or electronic point of sale terminal. mPOS Global solutions allow service and sales industries to conduct financial transactions in place, improving the customer experience and freeing up valuable real estate that would otherwise be dedicated to a POS countertop. 

An mPOS can also be cost-effective, allowing a small business owner to conduct transactions without having to invest in an electronic register or pay someone to support the software. Low-cost hardware and software let small merchants throughout Latin America get started easily and continue accepting cards with minimal monthly fees.
