Mountain State Waste exists because founders Randie Lawson and J.P. Phillips saw a need for dependable solid waste and recycling services in the state of West Virginia and the surrounding areas. They felt the time was right to create a company that understands the complexity of servicing a geographically challenging area such as WV. Mr. Lawson and Mr. Phillips have over 60 years combined experience in the waste management industry and have brought together an experienced and diverse management team that is likely unequaled by any other solid waste company in the region.
Our team has experience serving hundreds of thousands of residential, commercial, and industrial customers in West Virginia and throughout the east coast. That experience covers small towns to big cities, private colleges to large universities, rural Appalachia to suburban D.C., the local mini-mart to the Super Walmart, urgent care clinics to hospitals, and from back road oil well sites to large industrial power plants.
