Morice&Co.

Morice&Co. is an independent branding and packaging design studio in Melbourne. We work with FMCG brands across Australia and internationally, from challenger start-ups to category leaders, in food, beverage, health and wellness, beauty, pet and premium grocery.

We do two things, together. Brand systems: strategy, naming, identity and guidelines. And packaging: single packs, full ranges, new product launches, rebrands and the finished artwork that goes to the printer. Most studios hand packaging to a production team at the end. Here it stays with the same senior hands from first concept to print-ready file.

The work is retail tested. Packs we have designed are on shelf at Coles, Woolworths, Chemist Warehouse, Priceline, Petbarn, Big W, Myer and Sephora US, which means we know each retailer's artwork specs and compliance process before the brief starts, not after.

Every pack goes through Shelf Logic, our framework for winning the three second decision at arm's length. It is checked at four metres, two metres and thirty centimetres before it leaves the studio.

Morice Kastoun, Founder and Creative Director, leads every project. You brief the person making the creative decisions. The studio is run as a senior studio rather than an agency model, so the thinking and the craft stay in the same hands the whole way through.

We work on a fixed fee scoped to the brief, not hourly rates, and deliver a written proposal within five working days of the first conversation.
