I purchased the marketing service from this company. And it was the worst experience I've ever had. A 3-month service, costing approximately £5k, and it was the worst service I've ever received. The company we agreed with for lead generation provided only 4 leads in 3 months. The real tragedy was that 3 of these leads said they had no interest in our product. And one was a cold lead. Apart from that, they are very careless about their work. 
They even prepared a simple interface when drafting lead emails. We tried to revise it, but we couldn't get them to change almost anything. I should also mention that they are extremely slow. Their customer communications are terrible. If you have money to throw away, you can work with them. If not, advertise on social media yourself; I'm not exaggerating, you'll get 100 times better results.

We didn't get what they promised. They didn't help us prepare mail and mail lists. And we could not reach them easily about work and process. They promised us minimum 4 warm leads in a month and we got 1 lead during all 3 months that was an uninterested and irrelevant person what she said was "I have no any interest in your business and I didn't speak with anyone from MoreThanWords.

I received a marketing email. It caught my eye and so I followed it up with a phone call and was impressed with how they presented their company. I felt confident that what they were proposing would achieve the objects I had set.

They analysed all 13 pages of our website and came up with a plan to re-write the content. I could tell from the first draft that a lot of research had been done into our industry and this is exactly what I wanted. A fresh and independent approach that clearly set out what we were about and how using our company would benefit the client.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

I noticed quite quickly that our average cost per click on Adwords had reduced by around 65%. Over the longer term I saw a significant increase in organic website traffic.

Once we had agreed a timescale and set the basic parameters of the project I left them to start their work. Every few days I received a draft copy of the pages they had written. Invariably the first draft was spot on which shows the level of research that had been done. The whole project was completed on time.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Considering they knew nothing about my industry, what particularly impressed me was the knowledge that they acquired, quite quickly, in order to write 13 webpages as though they were experts in this field.

We were trying to build a website and blog content that set our company tone and spoke to a very particular type of accountant. As a startup this was something that needed to be researched.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted to have a first draft of a website with quality blog content that would attract our ideal early adopter to our website. They would either register their interest for the product or download an ebook crafted by More Than Words so we could collect email addresses.

We have worked with More Than Words previously with another company I owned. We have always found them to be punctual and deliver to timescales, whilst offering value for money.

Research and strategise over the ideal early adopter and who the audience was. Provide suggestions and advise on the correct channels and produce the materials to meet those suggestions. This work was largely done via telephone conversations which they then put into actionable outcomes.

What was the team composition?

I always dealt with the same contact and have done over a number of years. This has always been a major consideration for us to continue using the services as they get what we need and want. There is a good understanding between both parties.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

From the work completed we have been able to collect the quality pipeline of leads required from 4 different countries. This initial work has enabled us to further our understanding of the key early adopters and avoid wasting time and energy in the wrong areas.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

All workflows were handled via phone and email. Every call was taken on time as agreed and written materials emailed across for review on time.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I've used More Than Words for a number of years for a couple of different businesses. What I love about working with them and Mark in particular is how they can take my garbled ideas and turn it into something that reads just how I want to sound. It is as if my best self has crafted the words. I get the perfect end result without any of the hard work. I've been more than happy every time.

No. We are as always very happy with the outcomes.
