We hired two PHP developers full-time.

Moravio was actually using our technology to build their own projects. A year ago, we needed extra resources for a project, and we asked them because they had experience with our technology. We knew they were a huge company that was from our same city. We’ve organized community events together, and our CEOs were also friends.

The team at Moravio helped us develop the project on time. Their resources were as efficient as if we hired someone in-house. It was a big advantage that they used to work with our technology before.
The onboarding was quite fast, and we didn’t have any problems with them. They were a good cultural fit. It was easy to cooperate with them on both the developers’ and business levels. The client perceives the team as a whole, and they were satisfied, relaying positive feedback.

The Moravio company was hired on the basis of recommendations for the development of new castle websites and mobile applications. It was a complex concept, we needed to cover many aspects and services that the castle grounds will offer. From commercial activities such as weddings, accommodation, tours, to a calendar of events and festivals. The mobile application was then to offer a virtual tour.

Moravio was recommended to us as a young, creative and innovative company that is able to meet our requirements and deliver on time.

The entire project was coordinated via the Base Camp application, which allowed us to communicate in real-time with the Moravio team and respond flexibly to questions and requests. The website was tailor-made for us using WordPress, incl. admin interface.

Not sure for now, a team of 3-5 people, including a project manager, programmers and developers.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
Unfortunately, I no longer have access to the exact numbers, but the website traffic was perfect. Since the launch, the site has also been promoted via social networks and the traffic has been satisfactory. The website at that time was very innovative and modern in terms of cultural concept and in comparison with other web presentations of other monuments in the Czech Republic.
This is also evidenced by receiving the Zlatý Erb award in 2018. Special Award of the Minister for Regional Development for the best tourist presentation on the website, Tourist Attraction Category, 1st place.

The entire project was coordinated via the Base Camp application, which allowed us to communicate in real-time with the Moravio team and respond flexibly to questions and requests. The deadlines were met and the communication went well.

Meetings were recorded, there was no miscommunication because we had meeting notes and action points. We had also timeline which were followed and we were perfectly informed where are we in case of time.

Moravio has been hired by a machine tool manufacturer to develop a new e-commerce website. They initially provided basic graphical sketches, and then they started the development of the e-shop.
Since the landing pages of the new e-shop are different, the client expected a decrease in sales, but the new site yielded the same results in just six months. Moravio also develops new functions and features to improve the site. Communicative, the team discusses their progress mainly through email.

BACKGROUND
Please describe your company and your position there.
I´m the IT and sales specialist. We are dealers and a bit of a manufacturers of machine tool accessories and instruments.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
For what projects/services did your company hire Moravio, and what were your goals?
We were using outdated e-shop platform which was not in our own possesion. Any (even small) upgrade done to our website was paid many times by increasing the base price / rent of the e-shop. Therefore we hired Moravio to create our new e-shop, finally free of flat fees.
SOLUTION
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
Moravio was recommended to us by a good friend from university who worked with them on other projects. The most important factor for us was reliability and professionalism - which after 4 years turned out (and it still is) OK.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
After the first meeting we soon recieved a simple description of how our e-shop should work, then the basic graphical sketches of our new website. The main issue was to implement all necessary steps to match our new e-shop with our IS, alongside with our new demands which would help us with daily work.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We were working from 2-4 people - project managers, programmers and graphic designer.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
Because the land pages of our new e-shop are different from the old one, there was an expected decrease of our sales, but after aprox. 6 months we are nearly at the same levels as before. Corona, war and general prices increase are all responsible for the sales decrease for sure, but we are happy where we are - with new functions and possibilities.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
Most of the time we communicated with project manager. Emails at start, helpdesk later. Before every step completed, an estimate time for implementation was pre-determined, agreed, tested and then finally aplied.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Even after changing the project manager, the quality of service was still the same. They even learned how to use our Information System to be able to check and test the changes - among other things which were not completely connected to the new e-shop´s creation.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Maybe time. The development took more time than we anticipated, but it is not entirely their fault - we wanted the new e-shop to be perfect - with all the new functions and possibilities, even when the first plan was to launch the website as soon as it matches the old one in functionality. We were in no rush.
