Moonfive is a Leeds software company that looks after Laravel and Vue applications on a monthly retainer: daily monitoring, every update tested before it goes live, automatic backups stored away from the live site, and a client portal for reporting issues or asking for changes.
Moonfive also builds custom systems. Before designing from scratch, it checks a small catalogue of ready-made ones (purchase orders, sales CRM, helpdesk, property management) in case one gives a head start.
Retainers start from £1,500 a month plus a £1,500 one-time setup fee. There is no lock-in, and ending takes one month's notice.

Our Story
Moonfive started in Leeds in 2018, building software for small businesses that had outgrown spreadsheets and shared inboxes. The focus now is keeping that software healthy for years after launch: tested updates, backups, monitoring, and quick fixes when something breaks. Clients get plain answers and a fixed monthly fee, not surprise invoices.
What Sets Us Apart
Every update tested before it goes live
Framework, package and security updates are applied on a copy of the application and checked there first. Only then do they reach the live site, so a routine update doesn't take the system down during the working day.Backups stored away from the live site
Automatic backups are kept on separate storage, not on the same server as the application, and restores are tested. If the live server fails, the data is still there.Fixed monthly fee, one month's notice to leave
