Despite the pandemic, we have significantly increased YoY growth for SunRoof when comparing 2020 to 2021. Besides, we see sustainable growth in leads and conversion rates for our top markets. Together, we scaled the business from one to four markets and did successful market entries. Even though we grew very fast, we see the same commitment and energy from the Monsoon team, which is great.

The workflow is smooth and productive. We have a dedicated project manager and regular weekly meetings. If an additional catch-up is needed, it’s never a problem. The workflow was smooth and efficient. I had one main contact person who managed all processes and provided the consultation. The communication and level of service were really good.

It's great to see how such a young and still relatively small company managed to provide such professional level of service. The team is very creative, helpful and has extensive experience in the digital business - not only marketing, but also in overall marketing topics, tracking or managing users. They are always happy to give advice and valuable feedback.

MONSOON was recommended to us. We had a kick-off meeting and I was to find out that MONSOON didnt want to just sell what they can do, but they listened carefully what we need exactly. I also liked their approach of working as a team, since each member specialised in other area. They won my confidence that they are the guys for the job.
Describe the scope of their work in detail.
First, we had a extensive insight meeting with some follow up online meetings to make sure we are on the same page as per the campaign details: target group, sectors, location etc We also discussed the tactics for LinkedIn and Google AdWords respectively. Once this was done, the agency prepared the campaign communication materials which we reviewed and commented on.
During the campaign we stayed in touch regularly to make changes to impove campaign performance. At the end of the project we met for a wrap-up meeting discussing results, lesson learnt and feedback to be used for the next campaign.
What was the team composition?
The MONSOON team consisted of 2 members, each was an expert on relevant social media that we used in the campaign.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
This was a very first, test campaing to udnerstand the potential of the social media we selected. We had quite a small budget for this purpose. But, we significantly increase the traffic to our site and got some leads we are currently working on. But most importantly, as had planned from the very beginning, we learnt what works what doesnt and can apply the findings in the next campaign.

I’m the CTO of Fintune, a financial education startup. Our goal is to make a better financially literate generation.

What challenge were you trying to address with MONSOON?
We just went live with our app for Android and iOS in the App Store and we wanted to reach a big audience. We don’t have much organic growth yet so that’s why we wanted to engage MONSOON.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
They provide us with support in setting up Google Ads and Facebook Ads. They also help with connecting those ads with the performance events from the app so we can measure the cost preinstalled and the cost per registration more accurately. MONSOON suggested that we make the content accessible directly, so we optimized the URLs to access our blog posts. Social media is used for marketing to connect with audiences. Last month we talked more about SEO and how that will intensify moving forward.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Their work helped us significantly by reducing the costs for overtime per installation coverage. We now have 1,700 users, which we are very proud of because the budget we used for Facebook and Google wasn’t very high. Probably about 90% of the new users are coming from the ads.
How did MONSOON perform from a project management standpoint?
They’re good. We meet regularly once a week where they present us the latest numbers of the week, how many additional users we have, how the ads are performing from a cost perspective, and what suggestions they have to improve engagement. Maciej always comes up with new ideas which help us get new users. We communicate through video calls and email.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I find their can-do attitude to be the most impressive because not every marketing agency is willing to work with a small startup in the early stages. Their expertise is also very good. We get support to deal with Facebook and Google, and these are programs we don’t actually always know how to set up. A lot of companies have their own opinions of how to do things and with MONSOON, we’re a really good match.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I think they lack a bit in customer engagement. We want to be able to keep our users and currently we really just increase the number of new users.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Clarify in the beginning what the expectations are in terms of budget and service. It was very helpful for us to be transparent with the stage and exact situation.
