In the first month of our work, sales increased by 9% MoM, in the second month we achieved almost

We are responsible for all digital marketing activities from mid-2019. We use Facebook, Instagram and Google Ads to increase brand awareness and technology, generate website traffic and, most importantly, attract potential customers.


In our strategy, we use Zapier to automate many processes, including integration with the company's CRM system and communication with clients (automated emails). We are also constantly testing new tactics to increase the number and quality of potential leads, e.g. Facebook chatbot campaign, which aims to start a conversation with potential customers and gather information necessary to create an offer.

When it comes to the creative area, it’s harder to judge right now. With Google Ads, impression shares are around 87% depending on the campaign. We’ve been able to reach this number of impressions due to our cooperation with them. We plan for this to be a long-term collaboration.

We had a very poorly performing website from a SEO perspective – organic and inorganic. There were fundamental issues to the website structure that made it unattractive to Google. The initial goal was to bring the site back up to the performance of the old site in the short term. We wanted to regain our Google credibility.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Originally, the project was to identify our problems because we had no clue why we’d fallen off Google’s radar so dramatically. We engaged MONSOON to identify what the causes were. That was phase one, and that took some time. Phase two was implementing practical things: removing toxic links. And then it was forensic work in terms of establishing the new site – we had more products and groups of products. We wanted to realign the site with the new mix of products we had.

There is also ongoing SEO work, but the forensic work is concluded. There’s a great balance between SEO and PPC. He’s actually reduced our PPC budget by 50%, which is fantastic.

What is the team composition?

I work with two people. There are many people behind it but I work with Matchiek and his partner.

How did you come to work with MONSOON - Online Marketing?

I’d known Matchek from a previous life, and I’ve always respected his knowledge of the SEO world. We already had a really good relationship from when he worked at another agency. When he set up MONSOON, and we were desperately in need of the work, it made it a no-brainer.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Acoustic pods and dens are all the rage in the furniture world. Their tweaks behind the scenes have caused us to be overwhelmed with inquiries about this product range. That’s coming from zero products being available. We’ve jockeyed for position on the search listings really well. They’ve done an amazing job on that front. In the face of the site being compromised by backlinks, they’ve done a brilliant job remedying that.

We map the monthly visits to each of the targeted product ranges. That’s a continuous process.

How did MONSOON - Online Marketing perform from a project management standpoint?

We have monthly reviews on a live video chat, which I found really helpful. They’re based in Poland, and it’s always good to have, effectively, a live meeting. It feels more human. You can register people’s emotions more easily. The telephone is one thing, but it’s sort of two-dimensional.

I look forward to the reviews, and not just from a business perspective. It’s good to have a chat with them. Largely, communication is reserved to email and phone calls.

If something happens in between our monthly reviews, they’re proactive about getting on the phone. Their administration is great.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I wish I could pay them more and have more of their time because they’re very good. That’s it.

I’m the CMO of a fintech company based out of Frankfurt, Germany. We're specialized in cryptocurrencies on multiple platforms.

We wanted to improve our UA strategy. Our project focus on creating a UA strategy to build brand awareness, drive engagement and bring quality users to our products.

We’d been impressed with Monsoon's quality of work in our previous engagement. We chose them for this project on the basis of our past project together.

We held several meetings to discuss our goals and focus on the user acquisition strategy. Monsoon is our tactical implementation arm.

We work closely with Maciej (one of the Founders) and we've also interacted with Monika and other team members.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Since working with Monsoon, we’ve seen an increase in quality traffic and engagement. They’re also helping us generate a notable uptick in conversions. The strategies we’ve put in place have proven highly effective and were very easy for our small team to implement.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Monsoon has been really easy to collaborate with. Their communication style is excellent. When we are not meeting in person, they contact us via Skype, email, and phone calls.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Are there any areas for improvement?

No. My advice: the more open you are with them, the more information they have, and the better they can help you. Be willing to take their lead, because they’re experts in digital strategy and outreach. Trust that they know what they’re doing.
