I’m the owner of Buoy Creative.

What challenge were you trying to address with Miniature Media?

We initially brought on Miniature Media to help us with a video project.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Miniature Media provides us with video production assistance. Whenever we need more help with filming, Miniature Media will come on board and provide a variety of services. Sometimes they lend us videographers and photographers, but we can also use their studio space. We also do some storyboarding with them through Milanote. As we continue to work with them, Miniature Media will become progressively more involved in our pre-production processes. 

We just wrapped up a photography project with Miniature Media as part of a larger product launch project we were doing for a local canned cocktail company. For that project, we brought actors to their studio to film a product lifestyle shoot. Miniature Media provided a lot of their own equipment to augment what we provide. 

What is the team composition?

We work with Will (Owner), who plans to bring on another teammate soon. 

How did you come to work with Miniature Media?

Miniature Media is a popular creative agency in our region, so we reached out to them via social media when we needed an extra hand on a project. 

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve invested $2,000 with Miniature Media so far, and plan to spend more in the future. 

What is the status of this engagement?

Our engagement with Miniature Media began in December 2021, and it’s ongoing. 

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Miniature Media has delivered phenomenal work that they’ve allowed us to white-label for one of our customers. We’ve gotten overwhelmingly positive feedback on the paid advertisement campaigns we’ve worked on together for my customers. Every interaction I have with Will is phenomenal, and their quality of work is superb. 

How did Miniature Media perform from a project management standpoint?

Miniature Media always works within budget and follows our project timelines. Their project turnaround is excellent. Typically, we communicate over the phone and through Milanote, our storyboarding tool.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Miniature Media provides innovative content. Their work quality is phenomenal and is never what we expect from the post-editing process, which is excellent. It is nice to add variety to our content, especially for our paid ads customers. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I think Miniature Media should expand their project capacity. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I’d advise customers to give Miniature Media as much creative freedom as they’re comfortable with. Customers won’t be disappointed with the content Miniature Media provides — putting faith in Will’s creativity is essential.
