We use Miers Insurance for our cyber insurance needs.

What was the scope of their involvement?

If we or our customers ever get hacked, Miers Insurance helps cover that. Moreover, if an employee ever gets hurt at our location, they cover our insurance needs on the commercial side. They also do benefit consulting for us. 

What is the team composition?

We work with their managing partner and a business development officer for our internal sales. We pass referrals back and forth. 

How did you come to work with Miers Insurance Services, LLC?

Miers Insurance was originally a client of ours. We ended up building a good relationship, and then we started using their services. 

How much have you invested with them?

Our policy covers $1.5 million per year, and we pay around $10,000 a year for it.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in January 2007, and the engagement is ongoing. 

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Miers Insurance is always there for us every time we have a question on consulting. Moreover, we conduct an annual review to make sure everything is up to date, especially in the cyber insurance realm. They always update us with what needs to be done and what threats are out there. 

How did Miers Insurance Services, LLC perform from a project management standpoint?

In terms of project management, whenever we need to upgrade something, Miers Insurance always gets it done within a week. To communicate, we typically meet in person or via email and telephone. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Miers Insurance stands behind their offering. They provide quality, and they’re down to earth with their pricing. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there aren’t any.

Be upfront and honest with Miers Insurance. Tell them your worries, and they’ll advise you.
