Established in 1922. MGI South Queensland celebrates 90 years in business this year having built an enviable reputation over the years for our professionalism, client focus and highly collaborative approach with all of our clients. 

From humble beginnings, the firm has grown to become one of the longest established and most trusted accountancy firms in Queensland.   The history of the firm dates back to 1919, when Stanley McKellar White, Deputy Commissioner of Taxation in South Queensland, resigned and entered into private practice as a Public Accountant and Taxation Consultant. He was joined 3 years later by Robert Charles Hancock, former Chief Clerk in the Taxation Office in South Queensland and the firm of White and Hancock was born on 27 March 1922. As the client base grew, more and more clients needed to do business overseas and we began to form links and associations with other like-minded firms. This eventually led to us joining the MGI group which we have been involved with since the 1970s.
