Since 1978, MetroWorks has helped thousands of people overcome obstacles and realize their employment and educational goals. From its beginnings as a pioneer in community based economic development MetroWorks has continued to evolve and remain relevant to the needs of our community.

Over the years the mechanism for delivering our programs has changed. We have entered and exited businesses. We have added and modified training programs. We have adapted to remain in tune with changing economic and societal needs. However, we have always remained true to our founding mission. MetroWorks is committed to assisting people overcome barriers and gain the confidence and skills required to obtain meaningful and sustainable employment.

Currently, MetroWorks is active in our community through our Options Work Activity Program, The Cunard Learning Centre, MetroWorks Employment Services and Stone Hearth Bakery.
