MethaCad was founded by mechanical design engineers who spent over a decade inside the technical offices of European OEMs in home appliances, automotive and industrial machinery. Everywhere we saw the same problem: overloaded engineering teams, deadlines that don't move, and months needed to hire an engineer who knows the processes. MethaCad is our answer: an external design office that starts in week one, inside your CAD/PLM and your standards.

Every part goes through the same questions as in an OEM DFMA review: can it be molded, stamped, assembled and inspected? Our engineers learned this inside the technical offices of Electrolux, Renault/Horse, FCA and Valeo.

We reply to every request within 24 hours and can usually start a new project within the first week, once the NDA is signed. After reviewing the input data we give a written estimate of hours and delivery dates for each phase (3D, drawings, verification). For urgent prototype deadlines we can add engineers to the project.

Yes. We are an EU company (Romania) and process personal data under the GDPR. We sign an NDA before receiving the first file, keep client data on access-controlled systems, and can work directly in the client's PLM (Teamcenter, ENOVIA) so that design data never leaves your environment.

Two ways: we take on a complete design package (from concept or sketch to released 3D models and drawings), or we work as an extension of your technical office, with our engineers inside your CAD/PLM and following your standards. You have one dedicated project engineer, short weekly reviews (Teams or on-site on request) and delivery by phase. We work on a project basis or by the hour, in Italian, English or Romanian.
