I’m the director of communications for QCT, an IT services company.

What specific goals or objectives did you hire MediaMark Spotlight to accomplish for QCT?

We initially hired MediaMark Spotlight to assist in marketing for our conference.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

After communication issues, we requested to end our contract and allocate the rest of our budget with them to video services. MediaMark Spotlight provided event video services, including an overview video and 10 mini videos.

We worked with 2–5 teammates from MediaMark Spotlight.

How did you come to work with MediaMark Spotlight?

They were referred to me.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from October–December 2025.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

MediaMark Spotlight delivered one video. The other 10 videos weren’t delivered until I asked them where they were. However, the video production team was good on-site, and the deliverables were well done, even if only delivered after having to track down the team and ask why they hadn't been received yet. We received good video quality, but we haven’t seen any results yet.

How did MediaMark Spotlight perform from a project management standpoint?

MediaMark Spotlight had poor project management. They didn’t scope out the venue themselves to understand where they could set up. Our primary form of communication was virtual meetings, emails, and messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive or unique about them?

There was nothing impressive about working with MediaMark Spotlight.

Are there any areas they could improve?

MediaMark Spotlight’s communication could have been better. The leadership communication was awful. They were aggressive, didn’t listen, and simply steamrolled with their own thoughts and opinions.
