Advertising agency McCann Erickson Belgrade was founded in 1997, in Belgrade by Srdjan Šaper. In 2012. the agency changed its name to McCann Beograd, as it is part of McCann worldwide which operates in over 100 countries. McCann has been recognized as the creator of the modern global advertising agency model and has created some of the best-known and most iconic advertising campaigns of the last century.

McCann agencies in SEE operate within I&F Grupa, a communication system which successfully operates in twelve countries of Southeast Europe and the Nordic region - Serbia, Denmark, Finland, Slovenia, Norway, Montenegro, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Macedonia, Bulgaria, Sweden, Albania and Croatia, and employs more than 650 people.
