I recommend you do not hire them for PR or as a publicist. Feel free to reach out to me personally if you want further details. The owner Mindie is extremely difficult to deal with and is constantly making excuses and defending herself when the quality of work and follow up is very poor. She and her staff claim they are on the verge of securing a great opportunity but then surprisingly, someone from the media outlet gets sick or goes on vacation. Then the media opportunity is no longer available. After being a client with their firm for four months, they secured one TV segment for me but had no idea when it actually aired. I was unable to watch it on TV or re-market it on my social media. They also claimed they secured an article for me in a local luxury magazine and said it was going to be published. They kept saying they were waiting on a link. Then the magazine editor tells me that the article was never written and will not be published. They claimed they obtained influencers and an organization to support my open house event but then no one showed up. Their firm had no clue why this happened. To make a long story short, I spent thousands of dollars and did not see much of a return. They consistently drop the ball and make excuses for it.

Are there any areas for improvement or something MB and Associates could have done differently?

They need better follow-up and need to be more on top of their projects. They need to communicate clearly and be honest about what opportunities they have gotten. They need to know the details of the status of every opportunity. They need to learn how to communicate in a professional manner with clients and respect them. They lack customer service and the ability to produce a service with quality.
