Mayhem Shield provides buyer-side assurance for enterprise AI deployments. The firm assesses whether security controls actually hold for a specific deployment, covering data paths, identities, integrations, workflows, and go-live conditions, and documents the results for approvers as findings, evidence requests, and conditions for each approval gate. Reviews are architecture-led rather than vendor questionnaire exercises, and apply one assurance model across AI deployment categories including Microsoft 365 Copilot, RAG pipelines, AI coding assistants, AI agents, and AI-enabled SaaS. Mayhem Shield works only for the buyer. It does not resell, implement, or operate the products it reviews, and it is never paid by the vendor. Three packaged offers. Rapid Readiness Review: one tool, one near-term approval gate, critical and high findings documented in about two weeks. Full Deployment Assurance: one production-bound tool with full architecture traceability, full review depth, and named remediation in four to five weeks. Portfolio Program: three or more tools reviewed to the same standard with shared evidence over eight to twelve weeks. Every engagement follows the same four steps: discovery and scoping, evidence and interviews, analysis and artifacts, findings and handoff. Intake collects architecture diagrams, questionnaire responses, policies and standards, evidence artifacts, and system metadata; gaps become targeted evidence requests during the review. Outputs are a written position, findings register, evidence requests, remediation priorities, and gate conditions for POC, pilot, and production, in formats security, architecture, risk, and approval forums already use.
