I’m a blogger that runs a pub and alcohol culture Instagram account. I travel to different pubs in the UK and other areas, promoting the industry through reviews and endorsements.

What was the scope of their involvement?

To grow my business, I needed an accountant to get my finances in order. I also needed to know my business options because I wanted to become a limited company.

I work with two people.

I wanted to find a company that worked with small and growing businesses. I also wanted an accountant that could deal with multiple revenue streams. A friend recommended them.

We’ve invested around £1,000 (approximately $1,400 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in September 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Mayflower Accountancy has given me a lot of helpful business advice. They let me know how different decisions will impact my business’s growth in the long run. They make sure I have the proper avenues in place for my revenue.

How did Mayflower Accountancy perform from a project management standpoint?

Their project management style is quite structured. They ask me to give them information by a certain time, and then they move to the next step. They also run my QuickBooks account, managing everything well. We communicate by phone and email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their accessibility makes them stand out from a crowd. If I have an inquiry, they respond very quickly. I’ve also felt that they’ve gone above and beyond with their advice. Their service is excellent.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They’re going through a rebrand, which can be difficult for newer clients with them. That hasn’t been an issue for me, though.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Approach them with what you want them to help with. They can help with financial and tax decisions with your business. Think about how they can help your business grow.
