Mateware Electronics Studio

Mateware is an electronics engineering studio in Mendoza, Argentina. We turn product ideas into manufacturable hardware, covering the full cycle under one roof — electronics, firmware and industrial design — so you work with a single technical partner instead of coordinating three vendors.

What we do:

• Requirements definition, feasibility analysis and system architecture
• Electronic design: PCBs from simple to high-speed multilayer, power electronics, battery-powered devices, precision sensing and instrumentation
• Firmware: C/C++, bare-metal and RTOS (FreeRTOS), ESP-IDF, Zephyr, embedded Linux (Buildroot), CI/CD and automated testing
• Platforms: ARM Cortex (STM32, NXP, ESP32), PIC, AVR
• Connectivity: Wi-Fi, BLE, LoRa/LoRaWAN, cellular, Ethernet and custom RF protocols
• Industrial and mechanical design: enclosures and assemblies, 3D-printed prototypes, DFM redesign for injection molding, metal, plastics and epoxy/PU potting
• Prototyping, validation, lab and field testing
• Manufacturing documentation, component sourcing, PCBA management and production support

We run our own hardware lab and manage the supply chain, which removes much of the logistics risk of remote hardware development. You can also engage us as a Team Extension of your engineering group, or through Lab-as-a-Service.

Selected work: a cognitive-training wearable system for a US sports-tech startup, now entering its first commercial production run with a granted US patent; high-reliability embedded electronics with high-speed data acquisition for Oil & Gas; the RF train-detection and platform-door control subsystem for Mendoza's smart tram stations, in daily public-transport operation; IoT telemetry for 90 medical-grade reverse-osmosis units.

We also develop MoTI, our own industrial monitoring and telemetry platform (IIoT), winner of the 2026 Pilares Startup Challenge in Logistics & Industry 4.0.
