I provide the following as a review of my experience with Marsh & Partners (M&P); as based on my involvement with one of M&P’s senior accountants and subsequently the M&P management team – in its entirety. I believe that my experience – supported by significant evidence – unequivocally demonstrates that the senior M&P accountant that I was dealing with acted corruptly, engaged in fraudulent accounting practices, and engaged in a conspiracy of extortion for the benefit of a longstanding M&P client. 

Notably, that M&P client was not only a beneficiary to the alleged extortion – but, more notably, M&P demonstrably lied about their commercial involvement with that client. I provide this review of my experience with M&P after extensive efforts to sensibly and professionally engage with the relevant M&P senior accountant – done so in an attempt to seek a plausible explanation for the conduct and demonstrably ‘incorrect’ accounting work provided – accounting work that included a veiled threat to compel my confirmation/approval of same. 

There was an absence of any sensible or coherent response from the relevant M&P senior accountant. I progressed the matter by making a number of written approaches to the full management team of M&P. The approaches made included professionally drafted letters detailing – over nearly sixty pages – what had occurred. These letters were further supported by an additional thirty documents and annexures, which included unambiguous supporting evidence. 

Whilst somewhat expected that the relevant M&P senior accountant would provide obligatory denials of any wrongdoing – irrespective the overwhelming evidence supplied. What was less understandable was the response provided by the management of M&P when provided that same evidence. I believe the M&P management response to have been an ill-considered attempt to protect their senior colleague, and no doubt, M&P itself. 

Despite concisely and professionally documenting the matter (in writing only) to the management of M&P – supported with the material evidence – M&P management responded, via its legal counsel, essentially limited to the following threat: “If you continue to harass our client, then they will be compelled to seek restraining orders against you.” Then going on to threaten should I report the matter publicly, M&P will pursue a claim of defamation against me… Public accounting firms occupy an integral part of the legal and commercial systems that society relies on and functions upon. 

As such, I believe that an accounting firm relying on threats to cloak and suppress what I confidently believe to be the fraudulent and extortive conduct of one of its senior accountants, goes well beyond mere professional misconduct. As I now progress my reporting of M&P, and the related senior accountant, to the relevant policing authorities, I urge any member of the public considering relying on the services of M&P to (1) consider my review; and (2) satisfy themselves with thorough research, online or otherwise, with respect to the parties they would be engaging. I provide this content as a demonstrably truthful review of my experience with M&P and its relevant management.
