Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the proprietor of a business offers online piano lessons and tips to help people learn to play the piano.

For what projects/services did your company hire The Marketing Sparkie?

I wanted to restructure the website and improve the technical aspects and speed of the site. I couldn't get on with the platform we were useing, so Barrie came up with a solution for me to have a blog on the site, but the main pages use less resources than the previous system and load a lot faster.

What were your goals for this project?

The goals are still ongoing. I tried to do a lot of SEO myself, but found out I was making some mistakes. Barrie is helping me with this as well as helping to promote the site both locally and expanding out.

I have known Barrie for many years and we used to play in a band together a long time ago.

I had a very useful free consultation with Barrie and after that we set out a plan. This was very important because it helps to keep my focus on the end goal too.

What was the team composition?

Barrie works closely with many people, but everything is totally confidential. He does as much of the work himself as possible, but also provides training and advice so the client can have some control too. This is what I like about his service.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

I am happy because everything is growing steadily and because this business is about the long term rather than short term gains, the tactics we are using are making things more sticky.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

It's very impressive how much can be done with good planning. I do most of the work in my own business and I know I can trust Barrie to be there when I need him.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The most impressive thing for me was how personable every is. There is a caring for my success as well as the success of the business. Barrie tells me he believes he can only be successful if my business is successful too. Love that thought!

Are there any areas for improvement?

As things are, not yet. I do believe as things grow they will need trusted staff or a very trusted outsourcing strategy.
