A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the VP of business development at a SERVPRO franchise. We handle maintenance issues such as water damage, fire damage, and mold in residential homes and businesses.
What challenges were you trying to address with Marketing Juice?
I had a marketing vendor, but I wasn’t pleased with the content. There were spelling errors in the work, and in general, it wasn’t of high quality. I wanted to find a new vendor to manage my social media marketing.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They handle our social media. They create and produce content for our Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Linkedin, and website. They write personalized blog posts for all three of our franchise locations. They also manage our Googles Ads.
We had existing social media accounts, but they were not set up correctly, so they had to start at ground zero essentially. Partway through the engagement, our franchise corporate changed, and they had to rework the strategy accordingly.
What is the team composition?
I work primarily with Miranda (Founder) and an account manager. There is a larger team that helps behind the scenes.
How did you come to work with Marketing Juice?
My friend invited me to a class that Miranda was leading. I was impressed with her professionalism and knowledge, and I realized I needed to be working with a different vendor. I approached Miranda, and that’s how we started working together.
How much have you invested in them?
We’ve spent about $25,000 so far.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in March or April 2020, and our engagement is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
They cleaned up and fixed all of our social media accounts. Their work has been phenomenal. They were very accommodating and resilient, especially in the face of unforeseen changes, like when our franchise corporate changed.
How did Marketing Juice perform from a project management standpoint?
They have excellent project management skills. We meet every two weeks, and they’re always on time. They hold us accountable for getting tasks done. I admire their responsiveness and willingness. When I ask them to do something, they do it.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They’re willing to learn about our industry and take on new challenges. They’ve learned new software systems to help us keep up with corporate requirements.
Their cohesiveness and how well they understand our business impresses me. It feels like they work here.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Nothing comes to mind.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Give them free rein to make suggestions and help guide the project. I didn’t have a game plan when I approached them, but they helped get me on track and finetune my ideas.
