What challenge were you trying to address with Marcy Browe?

I needed help updating the images featured on my site.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Our partnership was a true collaboration; I hired Marcy Browe to do photography, and they hired me to create video testimonials. In terms of the work Marcy (Branding Photographer) did for me, she updated the imagery on my website. She made sure to keep my branding in mind because I wanted the photos to maintain my messaging. On my end, I created testimonial videos for her site. I started by learning how she approached her job by talking to her customers and asking them spontaneous questions so they could give me genuine feedback. I handled all aspects of production, from interviewing the clients to editing.

I only worked with Marcy.

How did you come to work with Marcy Browe?

I met her through the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce. She introduced herself as a branding photographer, and I decided to hire her. 

How much have you invested with them?

I spent around $500 on the photography package.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from February–April 2019.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The feedback was positive. My clients really appreciated how professional the images were. Marcy Browe’s work was in harmony with my messaging, which was essential to me. My website is about strategic storytelling for corporate purposes, and her work reflected that — she made me look highly professional. The photos kept my brand identity in mind, and it helped me establish a visual brand.

How did Marcy Browe perform from a project management standpoint?

Overall, she was easy to work with. We communicated via phone calls and text messages.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Aside from her skills, I was also impressed by her business approach. Marcy Browe was creative, thorough, and intelligent. I really appreciated her unique style. She wasn’t just someone who took pretty pictures and headshots — she emphasized integrating my work into the portraits she took. I also liked that she primarily worked with women entrepreneurs.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t have anything critical to say. The project went smoothly.

I recommend Marcy Browe — she will make you look professional while maintaining your brand.
