BACKGROUND

I'm the Director of Engineering at MudMixer. We design and manufacture industry-leading concrete mixers, with a focus on innovation, simplicity, and professional-grade performance.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

We were launching R&D for a new product on a very tight timeline. I needed a consultant who could help us build a strong foundation—technically and strategically—to set our team up for success through the full product development cycle.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?
 MAP3 supported both high-level strategy and detailed technical development. They helped us establish design matrices, define system requirements, build out timelines, and rework technical details as needed. They also consulted on engineering challenges such as motor specs, frictional forces, and problem-solving around undefined design issues.

I've worked with the owner previously and knew him to be highly capable, trustworthy, and extremely efficient. When I needed a consultant on this project, I knew I wanted MAP3.

 We started working together in May, 2025.

MAP3 Consulting made my life easy. The engagement boosted project acceleration and increased the chances of on-time success. We had clear communication, which helped better orient their perception of what we were doing through practical pointers.

MAP3 Consulting’s project management was very good. They delivered on time and responded well to our needs. We primarily communicated via Zoom calls, email, and text.

What did you find most impressive about them?

MAP3 Consulting was absolutely on it. When hiring a consultant, it’s uncertain whether the individual will be technically capable or care about the mission we’re trying to accomplish. MAP3 Consulting was bought in from day one and throughout the project as if it were their own company. They were also insanely time-efficient compared to other consultants I’ve worked with.
