Intra brings innovative equipment that improves people's quality of life in a way that exceeds their expectations. To show that improvement, we used the symbolism of the butterfly to represent change and evolution towards something positive. A lowercase san serif typeface and gradients show a more ¨tech¨ look and vibe. In addition, inspired by the healthcare industry, we made sure it promotes a friendly environment.
As Puerto Ricans, our history has always been tied to sugar cane. Today we are still connected, thanks to the main sugar distributor on the island, Dulce Caña. A rebranding process can present many challenges. In this case, the challenge was to develop a modern and minimalist design that managed to express its expansion and growth, but always maintaining its essence. Mainly, we focused on the redesign of his parrot (representative of our Puerto Rican culture) and the simplification of his color palette. The first thing we did was get rid of the shield that boxed the name. A thicker custom typeface was worked on, with certain sharp characteristics representing sugar cane. From there we moved to design a whole brand architecture for all its products with new packages and labels.
Since 1955, Marey has offered everyone the opportunity to enjoy unlimited hot water. In addition to their solid base in Puerto Rico, they also sell heaters throughout North America, as well as in Europe and the Caribbean. Now, after 6 decades of service, Marey seeks to remain competitive and outstanding within the industry. Its product has evolved, implementing new and modern technologies, so we did the same for their brand. We created a combination of text and symbol. The symbol contains two drops of water in opposite directions, that conceptually, represent temperatures hot and cold. This brand was designed to have the ability to use either logo or symbol, independently. Its sans serif style alludes to the technology industry and acquires a characteristic of simplicity with a modern aesthetic.
Mimi G is an entrepreneur and fashion lifestyle influencer. We placed the name "mimi" in a way that is readable, both face up and face down, although a horizontal version was also designed for narrow spaces. Its fluid characteristics bring the concept of fashion and subtle modern funkyness together. As design elements we created a pattern with the word ¨mimi¨ and used the letter “g” as a container for images.
Pan Pepín is one of the biggest bread brands in all of the Caribbean. In October 2020 they launched a new healthy line of products called Para Bien. Al Grano, Sin Azuuuca and Panketo are Para Bien´s starting lineup. We wanted to make ¨healthy¨ fun by designing colorful packages with modern and minimalistic elements. Each color and elements were carefully selected to create a brand architecture that is still growing and expanding to new products with different qualities. For the digital campaign, we were able to connect with the “panáticos” of Pan Pepín and managed to make it their most successful campaign in social media.
Skootel is a network of scooters with electric assistance that allows you to move around different areas of Puerto Rico in a faster, more effective and eco-friendly way. Their brand identity is a concept that combines navigation symbols (connect point A with point B), location, and direction (come and go), in a minimalist and dynamic icon.
