MacDermid Design, Ltd.

In 1993 MacDermid Design, Ltd. was founded by Doug MacDermid. He left his day job of 8 years in the welding & fabrication industry for his garage. His passion for working with metal helped him outgrow the garage a year later in 1994 when he took his small business to the Scottsdale Airpark. There he worked with clients to fit their design needs to his abilities resulting in high quality parts and a reputation for his work in the local community. Over the years MacDermid Design has grown in size as well as vastly expanding our capabilities. In October of 2007 we moved to our new 9300 sq foot fabrication facility where we continue to operate and work with customers both locally and out of state. In 2017, after graduation from ASU, Doug’s son has come back to the business he grew up in to help grow the family business and continue our expansion into a manufacturing leader. Now we are working with customers to continue to help them achieve their goals at the lowest cost while also developing our capabilities and services to keep MacDermid Design on the leading edge of sheet metal fabrication shops.
