Based in Brooklyn, we fill the space between hard science and compelling brand strategy. We're designers who've watched technically excellent startups lose funding rounds to companies with weaker technology but stronger storytelling. So we created Luma12 Studio to help clean-tech startups present themselves clearly and in a visually elevated way, so an investor can easily picture them as the future.

Why Focus on Clean Tech?
A love of nature and science makes this industry a no-brainer for us. When a battery chemistry breakthrough or a carbon capture process can't get funded, that's not just one company's failure. It's one less shot at keeping our planet livable. We take that seriously, and it shapes how we work so that every project is delivered with a strong sense of purpose.

We're also technology nerds. Most agencies show up wanting to deliver a killer logo and website. We do to, but we also want to understand the thermodynamics, the grid model and the materials science. We feel that when you dig into the tech, that’s when you surface design decisions that naturally make sense build a solid foundation for the brand.

How We Contribute

• Helping clean-tech founders raise capital faster by removing confusion from the investor conversation, not just adding polish to it
• Building brand systems durable enough to survive Series A through growth stage without drifting or needing a full rebuild
• Giving technical founders pitch decks and diagrams that make their engineering legible to people who are not engineers
• Proving that rigorous, restrained design earns more investor trust than flashy marketing language in a sector already skeptical of overpromising
