Lozier Environmental Consulting, Inc.

Lozier Laboratories, Inc. was established in 1980 by Lozier Architects and Engineers, Inc. to provide sampling and analytical services to the environmental community. At its inception, Lozier Laboratories, Inc. was created to address the “new” complex technical and regulatory issues facing engineering firms in the early 1980’s. Its focus was the sampling of bulk building materials for asbestos content and ambient air sampling associated with asbestos abatement. 
On April 9, 2002 the company was purchased and incorporated by Lozier employees as Lozier Environmental Consulting, Inc. Lozier is a certified woman business enterprise through the New York State Department of Economic Development (DMWBD).

The Lozier Environmental Consulting, Inc. laboratory is an accredited New York State Department of Health ELAP-certified laboratory for the analysis of airborne fibers, asbestos bulk materials, and microbiology of potable/non-potable water. Lozier is also licensed by the New York State Department of Labor for the handling of asbestos materials (restrictive, non-abatement activities) and mold assessments.
