Started over 50 years ago, Louisa Foods is a family-owned business. Fernando Baldetti, a St. Louis restaurateur produced high-quality, scratch-made ravioli and pasta for local restaurants. (In fact, even today you would be surprised how often you are eating Louisa Foods pasta!) With a strong focus on fresh ingredients, and carefully crafted by skilled artisans, Baldetti's belief that "freshness matters" is still at the heart of Louisa Foods today.
Our pasta is made fresh, but to maintain that freshness for when they are enjoyed, Louisa Foods freezes our products. Freezing is a natural process that locks in flavor and nutrients. When you taste our pasta or appetizers at home, it has the same texture, quality, and freshness as if you made it from scratch in your own kitchen.
