Lorenzo Alonso Arquitectos is an architecture studio based in Madrid (Spain) and Lausanne (Switzerland) since 1979. During this time the studio has developed a multitude of works and research, both nationally and internationally, in the area of architecture, urbanism, and territorial planning, always from the point of view of sustainability and innovation. At LAA we are a multidisciplinary team to quickly diagnose and provide solutions to architectural, urban, and environmental problems that require the collaboration of various professionals, in a range that ranges from legal to environmental aspects, including factors related to art or history. Sustainability and innovation Introducing active and passive energy elements within the architectural language is a priority objective of LAA, since they are part of the very tradition and conformation of that language. For this reason, energy and architecture constitute a duality to be coordinated in this study. Considering architectural production in its entire cycle, both temporal and spatial, is to set the basis for the development of the concept of sustainability.
