Lexidy Law Boutique was engaged to advise on and manage the Portuguese D7 visa process, including eligibility guidance, documentation requirements, financial compliance advice, coordination related to embassy approval, and preparation for the AIMA residency appointment.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The embassy approved our D7 visas and AIMA appointments were scheduled, but the residency application failed at AIMA due to incorrect and incomplete guidance provided by Lexidy regarding financial requirements for spouses, resulting in rejection, delays, and additional costs rather than a successful outcome.
Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?
Project management was weak and largely reactive. Communication was slow, deadlines were not proactively managed, and we repeatedly had to chase for answers and clarification. Guidance was not provided in a structured or timely manner, particularly for the critical stages after embassy visa approval, and our concerns were addressed only after issues had already occurred rather than being anticipated and prevented.

Unfortunately, there was nothing we found impressive or unique. We expected proactive guidance, accuracy, and accountability from an immigration law firm, but instead experienced poor preparation, slow communication, and a lack of responsibility for the real consequences faced by applicants.
Are there any areas for improvement or something Lexidy Law Boutique could have done differently?
Lexidy Law Boutique needs to provide accurate and complete guidance, proactively prepare clients for every stage of the process, especially post-embassy approval, and communicate in a timely and responsible manner. Clear written confirmation of requirements, realistic planning around known banking constraints, and greater accountability for client outcomes would have prevented the issues we faced.
