Our goal was to boost our web presence and generate sales. When we first launched our e-commerce site, we couldn't locate our website on Google. As a result, we had almost no visitors and zero sales. How could we sell a product if no one knew that we even existed? I felt that something more had to be done besides the technical part.

How did you select this vendor?

We found them on LinkedIn. I had several phone calls with Trevor (Founder & CEO, Let’s Get Optimized). I got the impression that he knew what he was talking about and that he had the skills required to launch my business properly. Other SEO firms contacted me after I launched the website, but none of them seemed credible.

We mainly needed help with SEO [Search Engine Optimization] and ranking higher on Google.

What was the scope of their involvement?

In addition to helping us with SEO, they also helped us with our SCM [Supply Chain Management] campaign for our Google AdWords. They keep their techniques to themselves, but they provide us with the content for our website and take care of link building for us as well. For SCM, they link their MCC [My Client Center] to our accounts and give us recommendations or do the work themselves in our account. For SEO, they started from scratch though for the PPC [pay-per-click] work it wasn’t entirely from scratch.

What is the team composition?

I work with Trevor [Senior VP of Sales & Marketing, Let’s Get Optimized], who is our main contact there.

How much have you invested in them?

We have spent more than $100,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working with them in December of 2015 and we are still working together.

When we look at our analytics, the results are good. They help us with 10 websites and we have had very good improvements with some of those. Some have improved to a lesser extent, but they all have improved year-on-year in terms of organic traffic.

They are very responsive and we always get an answer within 24 hours. They are always there to answer our calls or come onsite. We mostly communicate through emails, telephone calls, or in person depending on the topic and urgency.

No. They are not a huge agency so they can’t do everything, but we don’t need them to either.

Along with increasing the influx of calls, Let's get Optimized has also helped the client recover a previously disengaged account. They’ve helped the client’s customers rank higher, taking them from the 11th page to the second. The team is most notable for being prompt to execute solutions.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.

I’m the owner of Shepherd Marketing Solutions, a marketing agency.

What challenge were you trying to address with Let’s get Optimized?

We needed someone who could provide SEO and SEM services, so we hired Let’s get Optimized.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Let’s get Optimized provides all the SEO and SEM services for my clients. I act as the in-between guy; if my customer has a problem, they contact me and I contact Carla (VP-Client Services).

One of my clients, a chiropractor, called the other day and said that a lot of his clients weren’t aware that he had reopened his clinic. He wanted to make the necessary additions to his website, so I contacted Carla to get the ad in as soon as possible.

What is the team composition?

I work with Carla.

How did you come to work with Let’s get Optimized?

I used to work with Carla when she was still at another company. She was fantastic but ended up leaving to work for Let’s get Optimized which almost killed me. Dealing with a change of people for four months drove me crazy and the results were never the same, so I switched to Let’s get Optimized.

How much have you invested with them?

Let’s get Optimized sends the invoice to my clients who then pay them directly. A chiropractor spends about $12,000 every year. Two other clients spend $15,000 and $30,0000 per year, respectively.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in September 2019. The engagement is still ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

When I switched back to Carla, things took off fantastically once more. They’ve increased our call volume by about 60 calls per week.

One of my biggest clients deals with B2B accounts and has a huge contract with most of the universities in Toronto. I initially lost that account but got them back upon engaging with Let’s get Optimized. Carla has brought them from the 11th to the second page of search engine results.

The team helps me with any customer problems. They get everything underway and don’t even charge anything, especially if Carla can do it herself fairly quickly. In one instance, she was able to complete a task within five minutes, which is amazing. I can’t say enough good things about Let’s get Optimized; they really go above and beyond. Customers say they’re fantastic.

How did Let’s get Optimized perform from a project management standpoint?

They take on the different accounts and do what they’re supposed to do. Carla drives the work for the entire team.

Let’s get Optimized sends a monthly report for me to review and if I find something that isn’t right, they’re often already looking into it. They’re a step ahead of me every time. It’s almost like I don’t have to do much.

They’re excellent to deal with and have all the answers for us. It's very rare for me to have questions. However, when I do have to clarify something, I can contact Carla right away and she will get back to me within minutes.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They haven’t faltered on one thing, and it is all thanks to Carla. My clients don’t have to spend a lot for Let’s get Optimized’s services, but the team will still produce exactly what is being asked.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t say I’ve ever had a problem since starting with them.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

If you really want to do some SEO and SEM without having to check on anything, work with Let’s get Optimized. Tell the team exactly what you’re looking for so they can put a campaign together for you.
