BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I'm the senior director of marketing and strategic initiatives at a real estate firm. We've operated in South Carolina since 1933. We perform in the top 2% of our parent company's firms worldwide. We think of ourselves as a sales and marketing company above all else. We approach everything with extreme innovation and through a different lens than other companies.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Let People See?

Marketing is a very important piece for us, and we realized the importance of video about five years ago. We knew that video media was coming up, and we wanted to focus on professional content.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Our work has grown over the years. We started with video and have continued to add on to that. They do phenomenal work, and we get incredible results when we implement the content across our platforms. One deliverable we've done for about a year is a business-minded, economics focused market update with our executive vice president. We have thousands of hits every time we share that. It shows our acumen and leverages our expertise. They've really gotten that deliverable down to a science, and we can adapt and adjust as we need.

They also cover all of our events, and the experience we provide is really unique. To ensure that we capitalize on the value of those experiences, we have Let People See film them and post the videos to social media. They capture us looking our best, and we're delighted with the image they present of us.

We also work on various story pieces throughout the year that focuses on recruiting, our spaces, and our core values. We use them to help market those things that are a part of our identity, both for our social media and for contests.

What is the team composition?

Our main point of contact is one of their producers. The size of the team depends on the project, and we work with various crews that go and tackle various filming tasks.

How did you come to work with Let People See?

We started a relationship with Let People See a few years before we started working with them in earnest. That was before my time with the company, and we may have a nine-year relationship with them. We loved their creativity and their ability to turn things around quickly. They have an incredible customer service outlook. Our current president was moving into a new role as partner, and we wanted a compelling story video that captured that transition. They explained it well and illustrated a significant shift in the company.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our work is ongoing, and we've worked together for about three full years at this level of involvement.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

New agents and clients always mention the videos when they talk about our company. We update the videos regularly, which gives a good impression of what life at our company is like right now. Thanks to the work that they do, we demonstrate our expertise in the field.

How did Let People See perform from a project management standpoint?

They do a good job. There are always opportunities for communication improvements. We have a lot of people on our end who approve the projects, and we've worked through most of our difficulties as we continue to know each other better. They have the will and desire to understand us, and we're generally pleased with their work. Most of our communication is through email and phone. We often get better results when we talk on the phone. We also meet occasionally in person.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They help us demonstrate our highest level of professionalism, service-mindedness, and creativity. I appreciate how transparent they are, and they always are honest about their capabilities to fit within our budget. They're extremely ethical, and the love for the work and the care for their clients are obvious. They make us want to work harder at our job. They're incredible partners, and we love them.

Are there any areas they could improve?

The only issue we face is that communication factor of project management. A lot of that comes down to the size of both of our teams. We're always able to work through that, and they are always open to ways to improve that process. It's getting better every day.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

It's important to have a clear budget. You'll have better results if you come to them with a concrete cap. That will help them build out the team, hours, and scope for your project.
