What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Basically none, I had to redo most of their work.

I signed up with Leen Design Studio (LDS) in late January 2026 after seeing a Facebook promotion. Although its sales presentation and agreements appeared highly professional, my experience soon resembled another one-star review posted here. Despite clearly explaining my design, the first two weeks were wasted on work I had not requested. The sales representative left shortly after I signed up, and I spent considerable time repeatedly explaining changes to team leader ER and several developers by email. The relationship deteriorated after I discovered overbilling for prepaid eCommerce and maintenance services. I filed a bank fraud claim and received an immediate eCommerce refund, but LDS has not refunded the Maintenance Plan. In my experience, no meaningful maintenance was provided. Firewall protection, backups, caching, and cloud-based security were neglected. After WordPress reported numerous errors involving third-party plugins, I terminated the service, removed LDS’s user accounts, and changed my usernames and passwords. At additional expense, I hired independent developers to correct the problems and learned to manage the site’s maintenance and security myself. As a former corporate securities and billing paralegal with more than 20 years of experience, I investigated LDS. When I checked, it was a Delaware LLC in good standing but was not registered as a foreign entity to conduct business in Maryland, where it operates. Owner Sobia later told me she hires freelance developers and does not conduct background checks. I filed complaints with the Maryland Secretary of State and the BBB. LDS did not respond to my BBB complaint, and the BBB currently lists it with a D+ rating. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Leen Design Studio.
