I had an incredibly frustrating experience with LA Translation and Interpretation Services. Despite completing a project professionally and delivering high-quality work, they failed to uphold their end of the agreement by delaying payment. I am still owed $1,100 CAD (approximately $825 USD) for my services, and their lack of communication and accountability has been unacceptable.

I had to follow up multiple times regarding payment, and even then, their responses were vague or nonexistent. This level of unprofessionalism is disappointing, especially from a company that markets itself as reliable and reputable.

If you are a freelancer or contractor considering working with this company, I strongly advise caution. Make sure to have clear payment terms, request upfront deposits, and document everything. Based on my experience, they seem to lack respect for the professionals they hire.

I hope they improve their practices, but I cannot recommend their services to anyone in good faith.

Here's what went wrong:

1. Payment Issues

After completing a project for them and delivering high-quality work on time, I am still awaiting payment of $1,100 CAD (approximately $825 USD). I have had to send multiple follow-ups and reminders, yet they have failed to respond or process the payment as agreed. This lack of respect for my time and effort is unacceptable and unprofessional.

2. Poor Communication

Throughout the process, their communication was inconsistent and inadequate. It was extremely difficult to get clear answers to my inquiries, and they became completely unresponsive when it came time to settle the payment. This level of neglect is poorly reflected in their business practices.

3. Lack of Accountability

There was no transparency in their payment process, no apology for the delay, and no effort to resolve the matter. As a service provider, I shouldn’t have to fight for what is rightfully owed to me after completing my end of the agreement.

They didn't pay!!! Despite my initial confidence in their advertised professionalism, my interaction with this company has frustrated and disheartened me.
