The Ö.b.V.I. operate under private law and at the same time have an official function. By virtue of their appointment, they are authorized to carry out sovereign cadastral surveys and to make certifications. This special responsibility requires special training. Thus, the ÖbVI offer expert advice in all real estate and surveying matters.
