Assigning a team member who lives many time zones away is not ideal. They accommodated our schedule, however there was some communication lag.

They were prompt, friendly, and always eager to assist with more queries. They appointed a project manager that you could always contact. It felt like working with a team member, that's how enjoyable the experience was.

I enjoy how Kretz Consulting is never overbearing. They are not there to upsell you (although they do offer a variety of other services). They are available to assist you with your own digital concerns. The employees there have a strong work ethic: they are dependable, trustworthy, courteous, laid-back, and always professional.

No. I'm always delighted with their services, expertise, and communication.

I just started a clothing line. I’m the founder.

What challenge were you trying to address with BOMME STUDIO?

I used to work in fashion a long time ago but was working in costume design until fairly recently. There’s a little bit of a divide between the two industries. BOMME STUDIO helped me bridge that gap when I decided to launch my clothing line. I was particularly intimidated by the prospect of managing a direct-to-consumer model, and they held my hand through that process.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

BOMME STUDIO helped me source and create the clothing line. They served as a one-stop-shop, where they also created my Shopify website and spearheaded my SEO initiatives and automated email marketing. They even assisted in setting up different marketing tools and helped flesh out my digital strategy.

What is the team composition?

I worked with around 6 teammates in total. I had one teammate developing my website and helping me with all of the marketing. Another person was in charge of the development, where they assisted me with patterns and samples. Finally, a different teammate was in charge of overseeing production.

How did you come to work with BOMME STUDIO?

I used to work in the motion picture costume industry along with their president. He started his own company while going back and forth between film, television, and apparel. When he established his factory, it felt like a great way to bridge that divide. Upon talking to him, I was instantly on board with his vision, particularly surrounding how he wanted to make both of the industries more accountable in terms of ethical labor.

How much have you invested in BOMME STUDIO so far?

I think we spent around $20,000 on a limited-run production. We figured we could grow the project once the economy picks up again.

What is the status of this engagement?

The engagement began in March 2020, and the relationship is ongoing. Our first launch of a small collection happened last week, in October 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

It’s been a fantastic partnership. They helped me with all aspects of marketing and production, really giving me the time and attention that I needed in the process. Their team relieved me of the stress and confusion I was experiencing in light of the circumstances around COVID-19.

I truly appreciated their exceptional patience in willingness to accommodate me. I learned so much from my experience of working with them and look forward to continuing to engage them.

They are reliable, transparent, and amazingly accommodating of beginners.

What did you find most impressive about them?

It’s so nice to rely on a business that’s all-encompassing in their scope of work. It felt like they could address every need imaginable. They’ll not only identify the appropriate solutions, but they’ll walk you through and perform the tasks for you.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I know that they’re growing rapidly, and in light of that, they’re working to maintain the same level of interpersonal communication. They’re making it a priority to keep that small-business feel in their correspondence, and I completely trust that they’ll be able to do so.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I’ve already sent four different designers their way. I just tell others to reach out to them, because they’ll give you everything you need, from start to finish. Let them take the reins, and they’ll help you with just about everything.
