To design and develop a custom web dashboard to bring visibility to our clients. We wanted to transform our communication style that we have with our clients and eliminate highly time consuming and repetitive administration tasks. Overall, our aim here was to improve the purchasing flow for continuity, improve our communication flow for client contact and upsell capability, and reduce our teams time spent on tasks we can eliminate

Project management was never an issue, with a 4 week time line to plan, build and deliver a web app MVP; they completed within 3 weeks. In the final week (around christmas) they were on meetings working with us to get the final tweaks completed to ensure all areas were ready for a Q1 launch. They continue to do this on the expansive work we have on going

Pre build scope - it took one extensive meeting to get everything they needed in order to build our MVP, this enabled them to get their work done without waiting on us for feedback loops during the process

Market understanding - they just get it, they see the fit and placement. As a customer of ours, they were able to adapt the platform in the eyes of a genuine customer and how they would want to experience this. 

Speed overall - Their time to respond on slack, their time to build projects, time to fix bugs. It is second to none

The one thing we loved is the detailed planing from their side. Before starting all the projects, we have planned and forecasted our needs and we have monthly reviews with the CEO to ensure that the project is going with the flow.

Personalization of the project. The most unique thing was that even when we forgot some features they were there to help us develop it. Our lack of experience was not noticed since they were there to cover it.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

The scope of work included:

1. Consultation with Kodeful’s development team and product ideation (we presented what we wanted to achieve and what type of data we would need, and then we had multiple sessions with Kodeful’s development team iterating the possible solutions and new features)
2. After we identified the core functionality of our new software (imitating the user interaction on Google via browser, activating Google’s new Generative AI functionality, scraping the data from the source code, connecting to the servers, etc.), the Kodeful team started developing MVP.
3. MVP was done fairly quickly, within the 3 weeks. 
4. Our team tested the software via Web App on Vercel. With minor improvements and iterations, after analyzing 10,000 data points (keywords scraped) we finally started the experimentation.
5. After about 50,000 keywords were analyzed and tested, we needed to scale the research as demand for it increased. The Kodeful team successfully added more servers and we continued the process seamlessly. 
6. Finally, 2 months after the MVP launch, we finished our research, analyzing over 100,000 keywords across 7 verticals, with the most important information regarding the new AI Overviews features. 
7. With Kodeful’s help, we were able to create one of the most comprehensive research studies on SGE (Search Generative Experience), and we are very grateful to have them as our software development partners.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

1. We successfully created more than 50 reports for over 100,000 keywords. 
2. The level of detail for our reports was amazing, allowing us to seamlessly analyze data using Phyton scrips and generate great visualizations. 
3. The team was very responsive to all of our requests. 
4. We successfully scaled the number of scraped keywords per day, allowing us to scrape more than 1,000 keywords a day.

The communication was mainly on Slack and via online meetings. After each of my requests, they proposed a timeline for when I could expect the finished MVP/the specific feature that we needed. 

Many times, I had a specific request, and wrote it as a message directly to the Kodeful team, and after they reviewed it, I always got a specific answer or whether something was possible to be implemented or not.

  • real time communication
  • that connects to a third party bluetooth device in order to be able to integrally synchronize with the ECM of the motor vehicle.

While doing all this developers needed to follow 440 page long requirements document provided by regulatory body, as well as my (customers) requirements about the features not scoped by regulatory body.

The measurable outcome is the number of motor carriers in USA who are choosing our ELD solution for their fleet, which is measured by the hundreds.

Timeliness was not one of the priorities for us, but the quality instead, since the potential bugs in the software could've had real life impact both on motor carriers and the drivers. But regardless, every feature that was expected to take more time than the certain amount of time that we agreed on in the beggining was clearly communicated to us and delivered in time afterwards.

They developed an MVP of our chatbot solution with strict timeline and then continued enhancement and support.

Top quality engineering without crazy cost. I've worked with many vendors across Europe and Southeast Asia, Kodeful by far is the best I've worked with and we're still working with them.
