I’m an executive at UltraWired, a SaaS company in the restaurant technology space. Our SpeQue product helps restaurants, cafes, and bars to manage their operations. It’s a complete asset management platform covering everything from billing and reporting to inventory management.

Moreover, our team builds websites if we have to. We also have a contactless ordering functionality. Overall, we have a complete end-to-end system that can run loyalty programs to

What challenge were you trying to address with KODA Integrated Marketing Services?

We hired KODA to create blogs, website content, and social media content.

What was the scope of their involvement?

KODA wrote the blogs on our website. Apart from that, they created and optimized our website content to fit the requirements of search engines. The team also created social media content for our Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn accounts. 

We targeted keywords such as “management software,” “inventory management,” and others. Their team conducted research and came up with the optimized versions of the target keywords. Then, they wrote content around the keywords. 

Moreover, KODA suggested structural changes on our website, and we made those changes accordingly.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We measured success through brand awareness. We had a limited target audience and wanted to build stories around our brand. KODA helped us show how our product could help businesses optimize their operations. On top of that, we acquired leads from media platforms, our website, and word-of-mouth channels. People started talking about us a little more, and it definitely helped our business. 

Overall, the quality of KODA’s work was great. The team truly understood our business since they specialized in writing content and doing marketing tasks for SaaS companies. They could go into the lengths and depths of the business and deliver good-quality content.

How did KODA Integrated Marketing Services perform from a project management standpoint?

KODA was great at meeting deadlines. Our work scope wasn’t light, but they remained prompt and proactive. We had regular interactions with them through calls, and they kept optimizing and improving our content. 

For tools, they mainly worked via Excel Spreadsheets. We had a tracker that allowed us to monitor their work. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their business was focused on helping SaaS businesses with their content. Many other firms were in the market, but KODA stood out by understanding SaaS businesses well and leveraging their experience. This way, they could come up with more relevant and engaging content for SaaS businesses. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could have a few more technical people on their team. During our engagement, they didn’t have many of them within their staff. Since we had a technical product, having more people who understood how such products worked would’ve been more helpful.

Share as much information as possible about your business with KODA. This helps them understand your business further and allows them to create more engaging and relevant content.

Part of the assignment involved proof-reading of business-related content like blogs, whitepapers, emailers and case studies. Other assignments included writing fresh content for social media assets. websites and videos. Design assignments included creating short informative video for case studies and also short animated posts to capture key features of a case study.

Scope of work was ranging from editing to fresh content creation as required. Deliverables were around understanding the brief for the project, correct language usage, checking for errors / plagiarism, differentiated and interesting content and design creation, timely delivery and quick turnaround in some cases.
