Our main goal was to generate new leads and customers from advertising. It was a new channel for us and we didn't have any in-house expertise.

KlientBoost seemed the most knowledgeable about the space and also were willing to guide us. Since we didn't have any PPC experience, we needed someone who could show us the way and they did exactly that.

The work was creating and managing Google Ad campaigns. KB came up with the strategy, figured out the keywords, wrote the ad copy, set up the campaigns, and managed them on a daily basis. They also gave us in-depth reports and guidance each week.

We worked directly with the founder - Johnathan Dane, and a couple of others.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We didn't have a very large budget but even then, KB were able to get us high-quality leads and customers at a low cost per acquisition. This is in an industry where the CPCs are very high.

They are very communicative. They gave us reports each week and got on a call to walk us through the campaigns and also shared ideas for other marketing activities.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their proactiveness and personal touch stood out to us. With most agencies, you're just one of many clients and they do only what's required of them. KB went above and beyond so we always knew we were in good hands. They were creative and came up with their own ideas, which is refreshing.

Ascent Cloud offers a suite of solutions for sales and customer facing teams to provide context to their CRM data. I am the Marketing Director here and head up the marketing efforts for Ascent Cloud and its two Salesforce applications, Geopointe and LevelEleven.

We were ready to branch into Google advertising but did not possess the skills in-house to effectively execute any type of digital advertising. We researched and had conversations with a few digital agencies before deciding KlientBoost would be the best option for our organization.

Simply to generated more leads for our two Salesforce applications, Geopointe and LevelEleven. Digital advertising was something we'd want to try for awhile and, with the impact of COVID, we were in need of new lead sources with in-person events being cancelled.

I visited sites such as Clutch to compare various agencies offering the services we were looking for. I narrowed down my top 3 or 4 choices, reached out to each and set up calls.

At the end I had narrowed it down to my top two choices and the gentlemen I worked with at KlientBoost, Matt, did a superior job with the presentation he sent over to me with all the information I needed to present to my leadership team. KlientBoost was also able to offer a little bit more for us, even though we are a small client we were (and still are) treated like a larger organization.

I've worked closely with our Account Manager to not only identify what our solutions offer and their key audiences, but as the year has progressed, so has the use of our solutions. Our Account Manager was always ready to shift and come up with new ideas to advertise these new uses of our solutions.

We have also been given great guidance on the set up of our landing pages (we opted to not include content creation in our contract due to budget) to help increase our conversion rates.

I have had the pleasure of interacting with a handful of individuals at KlientBoost; our Account Manager, his team lead, one of their VPs and the initial Account Executive I spoke with. Beyond that I am not familiar with the rest of the team.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We have definitely brought in qualified leads and closed deals from those leads. We've found the leads to follow the same patterns of any of our other inbound leads as far as length of sales cycle and value of the opportunities.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

My Account Manager and I meet biweekly which has been a great cadence for the needs we have as a customer. I also know I can reach out anytime and he will respond if something comes up between meetings. There was one point when our Account Manager was on vacation and I was provided no less than 3 names of individuals I could reach out to if I needed anything in his absence.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

1. They are continually looking for new ways or ways to improve what's already been successful to bring us in more leads.
2. We are a small organization but I don't ever feel like I'm treated like a small organization. Having so many people from KlientBoost show a vested interest in our success absolutely makes me want to invest more with them.

We started the partnership in October 2020, and our relationship’s ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We switched to a consultation relationship because we wanted to relieve them of liability and control our account. At this point, we have a conversational relationship. KlientBoost knowledgeably answers our questions. We’ve seen increased traction and understanding of our program on a broader scale from our Facebook Ads campaigns.

We have a weekly call during which they give us advice while looking into our account. They’re organized, responsive, and flexible.

They’re collaborative and flexible. KlientBoost bent the structure of the partnership to meet our needs.

They threw a lot of information at us as partners at the start of the engagement. It was a lot to process.

Our goals were to increase site traffic, decrease spend, and increase the quality of the traffic. We knew going in that this would be difficult to achieve, but KlientBoost definitely achieved these goals which resulted in substantial growth for us.

When I decided to bring KB on, we vetted 2 other companies, but KlientBoost was the clear winner. We also reference checked KB and they received glowing praise. KlientBoost helped us with paid and non-paid marketing on Google and LinkedIn primarily. My team and I have weekly strategy discussions with KB, and they seamlessly executed. They were also very adaptable and were able to pivot on the fly with us as market dynamics changed.

There were four primary team members who worked face to face with us. Two on the paid side and two on the organic side. However, there were numerous KB team members in the background who were working on our project, but weren't interfacing with me regularly. Their support team continued to grow as our needs grew.

We increased our traffic over 10x. Our CPAs decreased by 20-25%. Our revenues and profits grew 6x. These metrics continue to improve over time. It's really been that simple.

Our workflow has been seamless. We have weekly meetings, and are talking with each other via email, chat, and Asana as well. KB handles feedback really well, and also know when to push back on our feedback. It's a fantastic working relationship and their communication has been spot-on. They manage expectations well and we never feel like they lead us on.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Friendly culture, expertise, adaptability, and laser focus on ROI. I couldn't ask for more really.

To be honest, no. They keep exceeding my expectations.

Before we began the project, KlientBoost asked us fill out a self-evaluation form detailing target markets, key strategies, and campaign goals, which made the onboarding process easier. They then worked with us to define keywords, build landing pages, and launch our first PPC campaign. From there, we continued to create several campaigns targeting at different audiences.

We primarily worked with the account manager and a designer. The director sent regular surveys asking for customer feedback.

They helped build our PPC campaigns from almost scratch that soon became one of our main lead gen vehicles. The account manager kept a constant watch on our account and managed to increase our lead quality over time.

They excelled at direct communication by having bi-weekly calls with my team. On a day-to-day basis, we communicated via emails and Asana.

It would have been helpful if the designer and account manager alike were part of our onboarding training, so that the designer also gained some knowledge of the client's business and marketing goals.

We select KlientBoost through an interview process involving 4-5 other agencies, similar to an RFP process but more fluid and not as formal. The deciding factor was the knowledge and experience they were able to convey during the process.

The scope of work included strategy, management and execution of Paid Search, Paid Social, Creative, CRO and Email Marketing .

Paid Search and Paid Social involved management of an ad budget with deliverables tied to return on ad spend, while CRO involved reviewing and delivering key adjustments to the website to better drive conversions. Email Marketing involved a set number of monthly campaigns, and Creative was a support role.

KlientBoost assigned us varying teams for different tasks. For Paid Search, Paid Social and CRO, the agency assigned is one account manager who was our day-to-day, along with a digital specialist and a creative designer. A total of 3 people. For Email Marketing, the agency assigned is one account manager for day-to-day, and a secondary email specialist. A total of 2 people.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

In general, campaigns and activities resulted in positive revenue with ROAS in the 2-3 range. Without providing specifics due to privacy policies, the return on investment was positive although there's always room for improvement.

KlientBoosts project management style can be described as communicative and flexible. They were constantly in touch with updates and adjustments, and were always open to better ideas. Their primary tool of communication and project management was Asana, updated daily and with weekly meetings.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The most impressive component about KlientBoost is the team's knowledge and experience across all staff members. Each person we worked with seemed to have a good understanding of all areas of digital marketing, while specializing in select areas.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

The main area that could have been improved is their creative design, which is very subjective. They offer creative design in regards to developing assets for PPC use, but we had to work closely with them to meet our standards.

We were able to see efficient CPAs, particularly within retargeting and branded search.

We had regular meetings and scheduled reporting to ensure that the flow of information was seamless. They were efficient in quickly turning on campaigns after we approved their strategies.

I felt that KB provided strong reporting for us, which has not always been my experience working with agencies. They provided enough detail that we could get a true understanding of what was happening in the channels, while still being digestible for the entire team to read.

We are a growing startup that wanted to expand our brand awareness while also increasing our top of funnel. We hired Klientboost at the height of the 2020 Covid-19 pandemic to provide us with full scale SEO services to start our keyword ranking to grow organic traffic to our pages.

Since then I have been amazed how well they have been able to work throughout this pandemic delivering us amazing results even getting long tail keywords with Salesforce in them to out rank Salesforce in their own branded keywords.

We also hired them to manage our PPC campaigns where they have been able to make the most out of our tight budgets without ever going over budget.

The reason we selected KlientBoost was that they offered a full-scale digital advertising Ad agency services at a good price compared to other agencies who specialized in just 1or 2 things.

At the start of working with KlientBoost we needed to build our website’s reputation so we laid our goals out by going for high volume keywords that were easy to target on the SEO side while using PPC to go for the much difficult keywords.

From there, their team was able to give us suggestions on new keywords and content topic ideas to further help us get in front of our key demographics. Every time we said “hey we have this idea,” their team would bend over backwards to help us figure out to make it possible, giving us key deliverables.

Since we have been working with Klient boost our month over month traffic has been steadily increasing with a steady increase of inbound leads.

Since we hired KlientBoost We are rank 1 on several keywords that have led directly to demo requests. We have also had a steady growth in website traffic due to these efforts.

Klientboost has been great at managing our expectations and meeting deadlines, even when they are super last minute and I keep thinking they are going to push back. They don’t.

I have bi weekly meeting with Chris, my account manager, to make sure everything is on track and to plan out the following weeks. Everyone on the team is quick to respond back via email and even quicker on Asana, their project management system.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their level of professionalism and overall knowledge within the marketing industry is impressive. What has stood out more is how well they treat us a customer, willing to bend over backwards to help us out on last-minute projects with no push back at all or helping us with one off projects that weren’t specified in the contract but were out of our scope internally. These guys really go above and beyond

We reviewed a few other agencies and compared things like fit with our team, understanding of our products and goals, presentation style and impression of the initial assessment of our current campaigns.

The scope with us has been to manage our PPC campaigns on Google, Bing, Facebook and Instagram. We provided some assets, shared some P&L data to help drive goals. Klientboost provided the strategy and implementation behind our campaigns.

What was the team composition?

For the most part, we worked with a team of 3 predominately on the day-to-day management of our campaigns. Though 2 team members were more regular contributors and the 3rd being more of a designer role which occasionally had involvement.

They increased our Return on Ad Spend greatly from where we started. Our conversion rates also improved greatly.

KlientBoost was very responsive and had consistent direct communication. The reporting side could be improved some, but overall they are attentive and easy to reach.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Reese in particular seems very knowledgeable approachable and stays very composed under pressure or when put on the spot.

Reporting and conquesting / exploration of newer terms and markets could be improved.
