Kinn Studios

KINN Studios is Calgary's only architecture-trained experiential design studio. Founded by Kiran Rai-Bhullar, who holds a Master of Architecture and Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Calgary, the studio sits at the rare intersection of architecture, art, and experience design.

We design physical environments that move people. Our work spans seven disciplines: art installations and custom murals, experiential marketing activations, immersive event design, creative direction, experiential architecture and set design, boutique interior design, and bespoke event design. From 100-metre community murals created alongside Indigenous artists to intimate bridal showers designed down to the scent of each candle, every project receives the same architectural rigour and creative ambition.

What distinguishes KINN is our approach. Where most designers start with mood boards, we start with the space itself — how people enter, what they see first, how they move through the environment, and what they carry with them when they leave. Every concept is presented through 3D spatial models so clients can walk through the experience before a single element is placed.

Our portfolio includes public art commissions for municipalities and developers, brand activations for corporate and lifestyle clients, interior design for retail, hospitality, and cannabis environments, and bespoke celebrations for private clients. Notable projects include Vibrance in Diversity (a 100-metre community mural in NE Calgary with Indigenous artist Kristy North-Peigan), Lavish Beauty (boutique salon interior design), and Ma Cherie (a bespoke bridal shower at Venue 308).
