I'm the HR director of an accounting and financial consulting firm.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenges were you trying to address with The Key Talent?

We hired them to help us out with the evaluation and selection of personnel, particularly junior profiles. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

The Key Talent helps us to ideate a fun and rewarding process to generate an AR experience that could allow us to evaluate the values and competencies of our newly recruited candidates. We hire about 1,500 people for junior staff, most of them recent university graduates. It is a very big number of people, and the selection process is key for us and the candidate's experience.

What was the team composition?

I work with 2–3 members of their team, including a commercial manager and two technicians. 

How did you come to work with The Key Talent?
They presented themselves to us and offered their services, and right at that time, we were looking for a company to help us in these processes. Their proposal seemed like a great fit for what we were looking for. Also, we heard that one of their founders is a prominent figure in the Human Resources area.

How much have you invested in them?
They charge per test, and we are spending about €15,000 (approximately $15,000 USD) per year.

What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with them in September 2017, an ongoing collaboration.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We evaluate the test's ability to assess the candidate's level accurately. Most of the time, the accuracy is very high, and whenever it isn't, it has to do with the candidate's honesty. We've also heard that people requests to go through the process again to be able and experience it due to the fun and good experience it is.

How did The Key Talent perform from a project management standpoint?

We haven't had any inconveniences, and their project management is great. Regarding scheduling, they're always flexible and adapt to our needs. We're also lucky that as we're one of the first companies to work with them, they've offered us a great deal in terms of pricing.

For communication, we mainly use email and occasional meetings. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their innovation skills are outstanding.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could offer more variety of group dynamics. As we have that many candidates and about 6 dynamics per week, we would like more options so our team doesn't get bored. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

It's always very important to be very clear on what your goals are with each of your projects so you can convey that clearly and honestly to them. If you don't do that, it'll be hard for you to get good results.
