World Reach SEO is a digital marketing agency that specializes in public relations and search engine optimisation (SEO) providers. We work with clients in different industries to support their online visibility and search ranking by implementing SEO strategy, link building, content placement, and PR outreach, among other solutions.

What specific goals or objectives did you hire KEW DATA to accomplish?

• We engaged KEW Data to do a full GDPR audit of our organisation. In particular, we required them to outline our data flows, look at our data processing operations, highlight any gaps in our compliance and give us a prioritised remediation roadmap to understand what issues to tackle first. We also sought proof of our compliance efforts that we could present to enterprise clients in their due diligence reviews.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

The breadth of our scope of work with KEW Data was to undertake a comprehensive GDPR compliance audit which involved mapping our data flows and assessing all our data processing activities across the organisation. The key deliverables were a detailed compliance assessment to understand where we were in relation to the GDPR requirements, a remediation roadmap by risk priority to determine the order of work and a thorough audit evidence pack which we eventually used to answer a due diligence questionnaire from a client.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The most measurable was being ready to quickly and confidently respond to a due diligence questionnaire from a new enterprise client to whom we had never done an audit before, using the audit evidence pack KEW Data prepared for us. We also had no idea about how compliant we were with GDPR, until we were able to sit down and create a data flow map, list the data gaps and have a roadmap to systematically tackle the issues to ensure we are GDPR compliant.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

Project management was adequate when it began to roll. The only thing we had a slight delay on was the initial set up — it took a little longer than we thought it would take. Once the project got under way however, KEW Data were responsive to our needs, kept us informed of progress, and provided the audit findings and remediation roadmap in accordance with our agreement. The general impression of their delivery was of high quality and reliability, despite the slower start.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The two things that stood out were the comprehensiveness of their GDPR audit and its practicality, we'd been dreading it and they gave us a clear picture of where we were standing, and what we could do about it. Also, the remediation roadmap was prioritised by risk level which meant we never felt overwhelmed — we always knew what to focus on first. The audit evidence pack was also much of use when a client due diligence request arrived shortly thereafter, which demonstrated that the work was very useful not just for compliance purposes but for the real world too.
