Kerns Brothers Company was established in 1933 in Granite Quarry, North Carolina. In 1941, brothers Clyde and Jim Kerns relocated to Kings Mountain, North Carolina, beginning a long and prosperous relationship that continues with the community today. In 1970 the Kerns Brothers retired, leaving the business in the capable hands of Johnny Kerns, who reincorporated the business to Kerns Trucking, Inc. Johnny continued to build upon the foundational commitment of hard work and great people.
