KEK Design (formerly KEK Associates, Inc.) is a Rochester, NY product development firm founded in 1970, with a dedicated usability team in San Diego. For over 55 years we've taken hardware from sketch to production: design research and human factors, industrial design, brand and graphic design, mechanical engineering, design for manufacturing, technical illustration and in-house prototyping.
Our 15,000 sq ft Rochester facility keeps designers, engineers and model makers under one roof, so concepts move quickly into working prototypes and production-ready designs. Our San Diego usability team brings over 10 years of specialized med-tech experience, guiding products from early user research through formative evaluations and human factors validation.

We are KEK Design, a 50+ year Rochester-based industrial design and product development firm built across three generations. Our multidisciplinary team blends industrial design, mechanical engineering, model making, technical illustration, visualization and enclosure design to deliver manufacturable, reliable products.
