Kasted Design Group is an architectural audio, video, and lighting firm with over 40 years of experience in lighting design. Our philosophy is that lighting and technology should complement the architecture, not detract from it. As a result, our designs reveal the architectural design of a space, whether residential or commercial. We are unique in our industry in that we provide innovative lighting and AV design solutions as well as the integration to see those designs come to fruition.

From a few select automation features to full-house automation with a click of a button, we help our clients achieve their smart home desires. Whether it is lighting automation, a multi-purpose theater, or a security system, our designs are created to fit any budget and lifestyle.

Our Mission

Our unique design-minded approach gives our clients an advantage in achieving their design goals for their space. Kasted Design Group strives to provide solutions at the beginning of the client's project. Often, when homes are built, the lighting control and technology are retrofitted to existing plans. The design of the lighting doesn't necessarily coincide with an overall home design. This leads to the awkward placement of recessed lighting or fixtures. Oftentimes, the lighting is not aesthetically pleasing to the overall design of the home.

In contrast, we start at the beginning phase of the home-building process. As an architectural design is being developed, we will sit with the client, as well as their architect and designer, to create a cohesive design that reaches their desired goals. By providing guidance from the beginning, we eliminate conflicts with electrical and technological applications in the design.
