In accordance with Article 79 of the Act of 14 February 1991, the Notarial Law, the Notary performs the following activities:

Notarial activities:

• prepares notarial deeds;
• prepares inheritance certification deeds;
• takes steps regarding the European Certificate of Succession;
• prepares certificates;
• delivers statements;
• writes up minutes;
• prepares protests of bills of exchange and cheques;
• accepts for safekeeping money, securities, documents and data on an electronic data carrier referred to in the regulations on the computerization of the activities of entities performing public tasks;
• prepares extracts, copies and extracts from documents;
• prepares, at the request of the parties, drafts of acts, declarations and other documents;
• submits applications for entry in the land and mortgage register together with documents constituting the basis for entry in the land and mortgage register;
• prepares other activities resulting from separate regulations
