Kairos Recruitment

Kairos Recruitment is a Melbourne-based recruitment agency for Australian startups and scaleups. We hire for every function, from first hires to leadership, including engineering, product, sales, marketing, operations, finance and executive roles.

We run every search as an employer branding campaign, so the right candidates understand why your company is worth joining before they apply. That includes reviewing the role and job ad, founder-led and culture video, video CVs for customer-facing roles, and behavioural profiling so you see how candidates think and communicate beyond their CV. We also help founders build their employer brand beyond a single search, so the story of why people should join keeps working for every role they open.

Kairos was founded in 2023 by Megan Luttrell, founder of Aussie Founders Club, one of Australia's most active startup communities, and 2025 Ecosystem Hero of the Year at the Governor of Victoria Startup Awards. That community gives us direct access to startup operators who aren't on job boards.

We work with pre-seed to scaleup companies and founder-led businesses across Australia. Fees are stage-based and start from 12% of base salary, below the typical 15-25% agency range.
